Finally some decent fish are showing up in numbers as well as size  . The weather has us once again fishing all over the Lake but at least we are picking up fish on a more consistent basis.

Boats are fishing from the beach to 150`, state line to Waukegan, as the winds and fronts are really moving the fish around. And as in the past, there haven`t been any really steady set ups to recommend. One day it`s dodgers/flys, next magnums, then "Stinger" size presentations are the bait`s of choice.

Here is the biggest rack I`ve had in a while :D

And these are the winners of the annual Palatine Fishing Derby who won a trip on my boat at last September`s event

The girl won the trip, and her brother helped her out by bringing in some pretty impressive fish himself!

Hopefully this is the beginning of what we`ve all been waiting for, and that they`ll stick around for the rest of the season.

There are additional pics on my site:

It's all about the kids out there isn't it. Gotta love those smiles they put on when they have a good time. They can't hide that!

Great job is right.

Captain, you need to take a day off and post more often!
