Big bass through the pond scum

Fished ponds south of I80 on Friday and found most of my best spots have thick pond scum or thick weeds along the shoreline. Decided to travel back to my first stop of the day after limited success at other locations. After spending some time casting a large spoon into the scum and clearing a nice access to the deep weed line I started casting a wacky worm but only managed 1 fish. Changed over to the white and chartreuse spinner bait and game on! Three good hogs and a hefty Momma!

took my bug bit legs and sunburnt neck home to soak , but I was sure glad I got out!

Nice bass! Is that hole in the lip proof positive of CPR?

Thanks Tom!.....Choup that hole was from horsing it in from the thick weeds. I can tell you this, she swam away clean after a Epic battle !
