I've heard this spot mentioned but am not sure where it is. Looking at a map, I see a large t-shape channel on the east side of Pistakee and another similarly shaped channel off Lake Marie, right next to the passage from Marie to Grass. I'd appreciate if someone could give me some direction, by boat, to find it.

It is a private channel by Fast Freddie's. there are 2 VERY large signs stating this.

Pistakee. If they are in there, you will know it right away. If not, don't waste your time.

So, does the fact that T-Channel is private mean that it is closed to fishing from a boat? In other words, does going in there to fish mean that you are trespassing? Seems weird that part of the lake is closed off to the public.

Channel can't be private been part of the chain since its inception, plus it requires a chain sticker to fish it, homeowners just trying to keep riff raff out of there.

Tell the folks that along the Fox River. Very territorial people. Just because their fence goes to the river's edge, they think they have water rights of the river bed itself. Sign, sign everywhere a sign.

Thing is there is no law saying you can not post a sign saying this or that is private property. The DNR or law enforcement would be the ones that will have the last say so if need be. People have been fishing that channel for as many years as I can remember, especially the early ice fishing with little to no hassles.
