About 2,500 CFS and dropping, cloudy and breezy early, then nasty hot and humid. I fished the fastest, coolest most oxygenated water I could find. I bounced a jig/pig thru hit, the fish absolutely hammered it. I tried cranks and rattlebaits, they got ignored. I went back to the jig/pig, the fish went back to hammering it. Why fight city hall, spent the rest of the day in fast water with a jig/pig. 23 smallies, 7 cats until it just got too damned hot and humid.

Ya know the weather's bad when it's just to hot to fish..............but the pain for you has to feel good with that kind of day.

It was so humid my glasses kept fogging up. Shoot, it was so humid the fish were swimming above the water.
