Finally, after struggling the last few weeks with a few fish here and there we got some. Started up on the northern channels at sunrise and after fishing for a hour with three fish in the livewell, we headed south. We got the fish in the southern channels tight to the piers and other structure. If you were not right next to the structure they would not chase anything. We got the fish all on minnows and waxies around 2-3 FOW. Side note we stopped at Jim's and his wife was working and she said hopefully he will be back in around three weeks so that's good news. Here are some pictures from yesterday 8)~.

A nice mess of fish.
Did you note the water temps and did you get a mix of both male and female crappies?
We fished the pits south of 80 yesterday, had just short of 65 degree water, got good numbers, caught an equal number of males to females and the eggs were all still tight.

Hey Any, the water temps on the north end was between 58-59 degrees, but where we caught the majority of the fish the temps were 61-62 that could have been the difference. We actually caught more males then females so there probably getting the beds ready for the females. The few bluegills were caught to some where already peeing if you know what I mean :D .. I think most of the fish are ahead of spawning by a few weeks. Hope this helps.
