Rented a boat from cjs with my cousin and could only get a row boat due to low water. Terrible wind gave us 2 gills for the morning and we gave up at 1 and got lunch. Headed to a shore spot and killed the crappies. One after another. All over 9. Biggest was 13. Kept 20 and headed home around 6. Great end to the day.

Some very nice fish for sure! You can't beat shore fishing at this time of year.

Bout time some wise anglers used those dang cats for cut bait to catch a most respectable fish. Very nice job Reno, good pics too.

Just wondering if ya used the whiskers or the tail meat for bait? Have ya ever tried the tongue?

Dont know how the crappies like the catfish, but he sure was dam good

Also, they were doing some repairs on the docks while we were fishing. Literally about 10 feet away. drilling , sawing, hammering. Didnt faze the fish one bit.

Very nice string. Now this is what I was looking for on Sat. Went out and didn't get a damn thing. Tried some local ponds with no success. I had heard that they were biting up on the chain. Where abouts did you get them?
