Started fishing this pond for couple hours yesterday and had 4 11" crappies w/ a good dozen of 8-9". I was glad to see some of these 8-9" fish in good populations however we are looking for our wall mounter (replica) speck, which for this pond we set at 16" or better.

Ended it with what I thought was going to be a nice crappie only to find out it was a solid 2.5lb bass.

Today got out for about an hour right at the magic hour and hooked into couple little better size specks but they came and left pretty quick it seemed.

Maybe a little bit warmer water and it should be on!

All on med. fat heads w/ slip bobber.
