Check the flows before heading out. It can save you a lot of time and gas money.

I knew with all the snow runoff it was going to be muddy but not blown out. It was fishable, I just didn't get it done!

Didn't MC get all that rain we had here in Chicago on Monday? If so, will that have an adverse affect or will it settle down by the weekend?

Yeah they had flood warnings over there. Lots of fresh fish! Trail creek is already starting to came back down though. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?04095300 As for this weekend, if I had the time I'd be there. :D

It has 8' to go, so I wouldn't hold your breath. The flows are high too. You want at least a day or two of Steady water for those fish to become active, otherwise it is going to be tough fishing.
Good luck if you go. Heck, I might even venture over if the flows take a dive, but I hear possiblility of more rain.

Looks like a little over 1/4 inch expected in the next 3 days, rain turning to snow. Sounds like the creek will still be up a foot or so by this weekend. Good news is there should be a whole fresh batch of fish in there next week!

Won't stop me though, still heading over there Saturday.

The Indiana DNR has a nice new map out there. This will definitely get you started.

Flow and height still look a bit high.......

Can't think of anything better to do, might as well give it a shot since the tower has already cleared me for take-off.

I'll put up some pictures of the conditions before days end, might include some fish pron as well.......
