Hit the Cal Sag with Bear for about three hours from noon til 3:00. Only 2 fish to show for the effort. Both largemouth caught around Skippers. Casting to the shallows with tube jigs. Talked to one other boat that said they had 30 in 6 hours, but nothing very large. They were using pumpkin lizards, Texas rigged and presented very slow. I think we might have been fishing to fast today. Nice to be out without the boat traffic.

We did get boarded by the Coast Guard ( I think because Bear looked a little suspicious  ) and they gave the boat the once over. Passed with no problems, but did learn something. If you have the life jackets with the inflatable co2 cans, you must wear them at all times, not just have them in the boat.

Note to self: 50 degrees and 50 mph makes it feel damn cold. :cold

Still nice to be floating again.
Bear, you can share my boat anytime.

Thanks again Shark, I won't tell you that I had green pumkin lizards in the boat with us :( . Enjoyed the ride tough, I am still shivering. Thanks for the tour as well, never fished cal sag and it is the closest body of water to launch at to me. Definately looking forward to heading out again.

As long as Marc comes along. I dont know why but I always have better luck when he's around. Whatever you do dont tell Cory unless you want to target carp.
