Looking at these Marcum flashers and the 6x or 7x doesn't seem to have too many differences except the viewing area is a little bigger. Not being a marcum man I was wondering if some of you Marcum users might check in with the differences. I'm pretty well sold on the 6 or 7 the only real difference I'm seeing is 100 less in my pocket thanks for your help

The big difference is screen size LX 6 is 6 in LX7 is 8 in screen. Which in reality the LX7 is almost twice the size.

Accordin to thr wbsite. Bside a largr screen Lx7 has a slight advantage in target separation at 1/2″ versus the LX6 3/4″ due to the increased pixel count on the larger screen of the LX7.
Also the LX7 is upgradeable to an LX9 which would include camera capability on one unit. At this time the 6 is Not upgradeable to incorporate camera capability. 8)~

I have a great camera so I don't need it upgradeable and the news that it fits into the five gallon bucket is a major selling point for me guess I'll keep my hundred and go for the 6 X

:drink :drink Buddy has the 7 and it has a split screen/feature that shows the regular 2-d sonar display while jigging....while out and about that feature showed the crappie in cribs and coming off bottom like the 5 shows them in the weeds....you still have a red area showing weeds but the fish still show as flickers and a different shade....was a cool view of the same info....just reporting :gpost

I pieced out my LX7 transport it and set it up in a larger Kitty litter box. Much easier to c arry than in the cover case.
