Chong, you confirmed what I found out Wednesday.

do you know how to go to a cmd prompt, if so type in IP config and PM it to me. It may be a IP the firewall is blocking.

If not reach out for AT&T and ask them and I will look atthe IP range.

Thanks!

Marc, ipconfig will not give you the true ip address. If you are connected to a router or gateway, it will only give you the ip address assigned by the router. I will need to go online and find out what my true ip is when I go home tonight. Then I can PM you my ip with my Iphone.

Marc, I went by the Salmon East yesterday but was unable to get on the laptop. I asked Lori to give me a holler when she is over there. I think you are on to something for sure.

Chong: ipconfig will give you the address of the computer you're using and if you are using NAT you're right it won't show the correct IP. So if you do ipconfig and get either a 192.168.*.* or 10.*.*.* then try the following.

"tracert www.chitown-angler.com" the second or third entry should be the ip address assigned to the modem.
for instance on my system when I type the above I get

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.17.1
3 25 ms 29 ms 29 ms c-71-239-6-1.hsd1.il.comcast.net [71.239.6.1]

Explanation:
1. My computer.
2. My inside router
3. My comcast cable modem.

Marc please let me know if I'm wrong about any of this.

Dylanapollo,

I did a trace and also went to whatismyip.com, I got two very close but different ips.

I sent a pm to Marc and gave him the two ips.
I hope he can find out what is going on.

Marc & Dylanapollo,

I don't know if you guys changed anything. I turn on my laptop today and I can access the website without any problem now.
I also tried my iphone and Ipad and everything is fine now.

Thanks,

Chong.

Wasn't anything I did. I think Marc turned it over to one of his guru's at the hosting facility. Sounds like they figured it out hopefully. I wonder if fishhog (salmon stop) is working?
