Looking for suggestions.

My dad and I are planning a week-long summer fishing trip up north in mid July in Wisconsin for bass. We would prefer some type of motel/lodge on the water. My dad is 74 so I am looking for smaller, less-pressured water without much boat traffic. Weedy, lily pad lakes would be best. I would pick a numbers lake over a trophy lake. Place must have AC and wifi. Any info is appreciated.

Look up the pine harbor resort in RHinelander. Spent a week there for 5 straight years. Never saw another boat on the lakes we were on. Able to leave the boat literally 20 feet from cabin. Caught some of the biggest smallmouth ive seen. Some huge muskies too.

At night, the walleyes and crappie would be non stop from the docks. We would always go early-late july.

Thanks Reno. That is the area I am considering. Never been that far north in Wisconsin before and I've just heard of these places.

You might also want to consider Big McKenzie Lake, Burnett County, Wisconsin Near Spooner, WI. There are a couple of resorts such as Shaunie's, Moonlight Bay.
