Ok it has been a year since this thread was alive, I took a year without even so much as thinking about puttin the old girl in due to presonal issues that took all my time and effort to get past. I took her out today out of pastrik and gave her the run that says its good to go. after a year it took a couple minutes to blow the build up out and knock all the cobb webs out and she smoothed out at idle, got into open water and ran at all speeds for over an hour shutting her down for a while and restarting and all is good, the Sea Foam started to do its thing and smothed out the low end speed to just under 1mph and topped out at 38 high end. SO since things went perfect with the motor I just happen to have a couple rods set up for smallies........ Check the bass post, thanks agian for all the helpful info and good advice and now I will see you on the water or on 68 PEACE we got boat!!!!

Hey HOEH, This is your old goaltender, Keith. Nice looking boat, i just sold my 87 18.5 ft Tyee to my brother and picked up a 87 project Baron last spring, its in my signature. No lying these old Lunds ride well, Tyee is a hell of a boat. I only had the Baron out once last year as i suffered an injury but i hope to make up for it this year. Still got some work to do on her ( does it really ever end) but she can go in the water as is, I already put alot into her. One thing about these older Lunds is keep an eye on your transom, I'm sure you're aware of it but Lund really didn't do much to protect that wood back there, might want to pop the cap and take a look. You'll see that they don't seal them, if alls well wouldn't hurt to throw on some 3m 4200 before putting the cap back on. Anyways congrats on the new rig, real nice find
