the first two are of my buddy miller rescued him from calumet humane society and they got him from somewhere in jasper county indiana suspect he was hunting and wandered from the rest of the pack of hounds, the third is maggie got her in september from a breeder in michigan she just turned six months on jan 1st, thought you may want to see my buddies.

no they're just house dogs i have considered it with the young one but miller was so skidish when i got him, i mean u would russel a plastic grocery bag and he would jump and runaway so i wouldnt want to take the chance of losing him

my grandpa used to breed beagles for rabbit dogs in michigan there great dogs. Hounds or house dogs nice pics

Nice looking dogs. Is the smaller one a beagle or walker? I've never hunted with a hound, but i do have a cur for squirrels and coons.

When we got our Golden 4 yrs ago, we found that to cure the pup of fright from loud noise we would pay music at high volumes when he ate his food. Also dropped pots and pans in the kitch and more loud music while playing with him. Having him experience shocking noise while doing something that he was interested and consumed with, took the scare factor out of him. Now when its the forth of July instead of running away from the fireworks he justs sits on top of our hill and watches them go off and explode. Never had a dog that was as outgoing and confident as him. No fear. I would recommend to all, the sooner a pup is exposed to harsh sounds the better off he will be down the road. and the band played on......
