Hey guys,


I have been wondering if I can keep this tadpole alive for an openwater bait. I received the tadpole with my roaches from Triangle Baitshop and have had him for about 2 weeks and cant find out if he will eat any thing the internet isn't helping me so i figured you guys may be able to. thanks.

You can keep it alive, but it won't stay a tadpole forever. He will eat fish food. Mops

Yup, he'll eat fish food just fine. He'll also chow down on algae, and anything else he can find.

so then should I put him in my 30 gallon tropical fish tank or keep him in the garage with the minnows?

Any aquatic plant that ends up in the tank I believe would become dinner.

Used to feed mine flakes like the other guys suggested. He won't be a tadpole by open water though......

That's OK, frogs make good bait too. Or if you have water around your place you can let it go and it'll eat bugs.
