Pauleye and I hit the Fox today for about three hours hunting for smallies. River is wadable but barely. Still very fast and pretty high. Managed several feisty smallies and a chunky northern on splitshot with a minnow. Fish were active but are so spread out from the fast water you really have to move around and hunt for em. Needs to slow down by about half and the fish will start to stack up a little better. Wind was really starting to rip and we got blown off the river around eleven. Despite the chilly wind it was awesome to get back into the river again.
