Went out yesterday to the fox on the 25 side in batavia by the dam. I was fishing with 4" crrek chubs that i caught in a local creek by my house. Was there for about 20 minutes and pulled a smallie out about 1.5lbs off a slip bobber. and then 10 minutes later i pulled about a 1lb smallie and im pretty sure the chub was like half its size. So there def. going for the bigger baits. No walleye wich i intended on going for. But nothing else after that last one. " does anyone know how to upload pictures of there phone?????

Be careful, unless that creek pours into the fox river you are not suppose to transfer fish (bait) from one body of water to another. Just and FYI. :)

Good job the smallies, try for walleyes after dark.

ditto what Twade said.

You also may want to try tipping a jig with a large minnow and working the edges of fast/slow current areas. Typically your larger predators will be hiding behind a rock or other obstruction in this area waiting for a meal to swim by and take refuge in their strike zone.
