I was floating down the fox yesterday with no luck. I had was trolling from the canoe with a tube minnow and yellow jig head with a yellow glitter double tailed plastic. I wasn't expecting much as i have never been on the river at this time of the year. I did dip them in scent but I think I should of jigged minnows. Very possible also that the bait might of been too big for them to bite. The water was fairly clear. Saw a few ducks in the far distance but not a lot. Saw at least 5 deer and one 9 pointer chasing two does that swam across the river, he was obviously in the rut and not thinking. He saw me right as he got to the bank, starred at me for a awhile then ran back through the wood.

It was cold but I was dressed for it and was comfortable. It is really nice out there at this time of the year.
