I heard that they put a restriction on where you can fish there back in the summer cuz of the new dam construction. Does anyone know if they opened it back up down by the stairs in the parking lot next to Freeman's? Back in late Feb and march there was a great eddie that was in front of those stairs that produced alot of walleye for me. Thanks to all!!!

I just now came across this post, the bridge you're talking about, is that Route 47?

I fished there quite a bit last summer! I did well! Lots of smallies on crankbaits, Walleyes on rattle traps and minnmows, Catfish on raw hamburger, and the occasoinal carp!!

I pounded the smallies on top water at the damn for about three weeks straight, I think the new damn configuration produces more h2o during the dog days and smb seek it out.
