The water temperature was 68º this morning. The water is on the rise again at 1,640 cubic feet per second in Montgomery. Hopefully it won’t get too high this time!

We have been selling quite a few Medium and Large Roach to guys going for catfish. Smallies are still hitting fairly light since they are just coming off their spawn beds. They should start hitting hard within the next week or two.

Congratulations to the Class of 2008! :D

Good luck out there!

Water is still on the rise, but don't let that stop you from Fishing. The bass are just starting to relate back to current seams...caught a 17inch and a 15 inch in fast water.... (The First current break.) Batavia Bait and Tackle is right on the money!!! The fish should be a popping and in summertime patterns in a couple of weeks. The Channel cats seem to be running a bit larger this year, and They LOVE those Large Roaches Karen, Tim and Jason Stock down at Batavia bait. We are also catching an occasional walleye in FAST water, but they are mostly smaller males. See ya on The water, The Fishin Musician aka Kevin Summers
