Took my daughter with me yesterday for a morning venture. My daughter couldn't wait to try out her new waders. It was a beautiful morning to be out with her. She manages to find the coolest things. The pic below is the shed of a snake. Not sure what kind as the skin was faded. She also caught minnows, crayfish, and one very large tadpole that she brought home to hopefully morph into a frog. I was able to catch a beautiful smallie from such a small stream. Afterwards, we headed to McD's for a hot breakfast. It was a great day with my little girl.

Of course she did Travis. She also caught some clams as well. The only thing we didn't get to see were some deer. Maybe this weekend.

Awesome! I remember my son and his frist pair of waders (same waders your daughter is wearing) - he was so excited to use them.

Look like some great memories you are making with your girl. Always make time for some new ones

My son has just outgrown his latest pair of waders - the kid must have grown over a foot this past year (he's an 8th grader). When your daughter outgrows those waders, shoot me a PM, I just may have a nice pair of Simms gortex breathables for your daughter

Blessings,
Russ

I would have to agree. My fondest memories are spending time in the outdoors with my dad when I was a kid. I am lucky enough to still be doing that. Can't wait for my little guy to start.

Thanks for the the gesture Russ.
