Has anyone fished the aux sable with any luck? I was driving from morris out to minooka this weekend and stopped to check a creek on rt 6 that I believe was the aux sable. creeks looks fishy; reminds me alot of the dupage. Just wondering if its worth the drive back out there and what type of fish it holds. Also fished What I think was nettle creek over the weekend with little luck but am planning on giving that another try as it looks like it could be productive stream. We fished from the canal bridge to the mouth at the illinois.

I tried what I think to be the Aux Sable last summer. I parked at a forest preserve off of Route 52, but didn't have any luck with YUMS twister tail grubs. And usually there are at least a couple rock bass or gils in any creek I've tried.

The Rte 52 location appears to be a few miles north of where you scoped it out. Might be worth a try closer to the river there.
