There are definitly open areas right now especially in the lower sections. After all the snow melt this week and a little rain everything should be open very soon.

Yup! Let's hope they don't stay blown out too long. I need a steelie fix. The times I have had chances, I have been sick or well just didn't feel adventuresome to find open holes.

I hope the rain holds off for at least the first half of the day on Sat! If I was not super busy at work this week I would have already been out!

Its actually off of 12, not 20. And yes, the steelheaders property is right behind it. I live right here in Michigan City, and belong to the club.

Trail is completely fishable at this time and should be all weekend. Wheather or not you find some fish on your outing, well lets just say they are for sure in there, just gotta do some scouting. Good luck with what you choose to do. Hey, by the way, how big are the perch running that you are getting.
