And caught only bluegills and sunfish beside one small smallmouth. I can also say while that tramping through the weeds to get to the river, some plant must have given me a rash on my left arm. I used Technu upon returning home. Very low water and many a mosquito.

Ever try the main stem chuck? In low water periods you can still find some depth and there's plenty of room for your fly rod. I see carp taking bugs off the surface all of the time.

The east and west branches meet up and form the main branch. This happens right around 95th street in Bolingbrook. I think before 95th went through it was king's crossing.
