Looks like another year of prolonged winter that turns into summer while skipping any steady spring weather. The 21st is supposed to 72°f.

How has this affected your usual spring fishing so far?

It has actually worked out well for me so far, given me a couple more weeks to make sure my boat is in proper working order before fishing picks up. It should be big lake ready by the time coho reach NP.

The weather has definitely made a difference , in my fishing . I cancelled , planned trips , each of the last 3-4 weekends . ALL weather related .

Got out yesterday , for our 2018 maiden voyage , and got a 2 man limit at Cal Park .

Good Luck and Safe Trips ,,,,, Walldady

I’ve had a great spring or late winter, whatever you want to call it. As far as changes, I’ve left the boat at home more than usual for this time of year and gotten to extend both my shore/pier fishing as well as probably added another week and a half to my “winter” steelheading. Typically this time of year there’s some smallies starting to filter into the prespawn transition areas, I have that a half a chance yesterday and blanked. Over all I’d rate the March weather as a plus for my fishing, but that’s highly trout and salmon focused in Indiana.
