Wow!!!
If we could only get a chance to hunt those woods. There are some awesome deer. I have a ton of nice bucks out my way in Will County. They strut around in broad daylight because they know there's no hunting pressure.

I was referring to the preserves on Laporte and rt 30 west of wolf. Have seen some large bucks in there.

or the DNR or Forest Preserve ,,, indiscriminate Deer culling .,,,,,,,,, A lot of people feed the Deer in those woods . They will come up and practically lick the salt off of your bumper .

Wow, what a great buck. It's fun to see those bucks even if you can't hunt him. I'd keep a eye on him and when he loses his antlers go take a look for him.

It's a long shot but have you done any investigating to see if any of the land that borders it is hunt able? I found a spot next to a forest preserve that is legal to hunt that was overlooked by many people because they all assumed it wasn't legal to hunt but actually was 100% legal. All you need is one little pocket to hunt. I've learned that Forest Preserve cops hate deer and if they can get some legally taken from the bordering land they are more than willing to give some advice on spots that are legal to hunt.

This area is really local . It's surrounded by housing and high traffic roads . They will NEVER let anyone hunt there and it is all incorporated into villages / towns . It is owned by the Crook Co. Forest Pres. tho .

He is a BRUITE . Saw him , 2 other Bucks , and 9 Does today . ,,, I NEVER get tired of seeing Deer like that . Sure would like him on my wall ,,, BUT ,,, IT'S ILLEGAL ,,, AND I LIKE WATCHIN HIM .,,,, :allah
