I have only been goose hunting 5 years, so there is much to learn. I hunt cornfields using hedgerows as my cover. As season goes on the geese prefer to be in open fields nowhere any cover. I do have a standard coffin style blind, but I am curios of the chair blind with the decoy over it. I would appreciate any feed back food or bad.

I've hunted under those Goose chairs a few times, I'd rather be in a coffin. Coffins are more comfortable, and conceal your legs. My opinion is that I can conceal myself better in the coffin, it just takes a little work especially if you're in bean fields. However, a lot of guys will overlook the process of mudding their blinds with mud from the field they are hunting, and a lot of guys wont take the time to use what is left in the field (away from their "X") to brush-out their blind. Example, my buddy will brush his coffin blind with corn stalks from the field behind his house, but never throws in any stubble from the fields he is hunting in. We pointed out that his blind was bright yellow one morning when the rest of the field and blinds had a paler color to the corn stalks. If the field is plowed, and the farmer is okay with it, try digging out divots to put the blinds in to get the profile closer to ground level. With the snow on the ground now, digging out a space for your coffin to sit in the snow and piling snow on top of your blind/snow cover will be majorly beneficial compared to just setting the blind on top of the snow.

The more you can do to reduce your profile (get closer to the ground) the better. You are going to cast a shadow, which looks unnatural from their perspective.
