First of all, I would like to thank John RatherbeIcefishin' for hosting a group of Chi Town IceHoles
today at Beautiful Lake Holiday. Goose Hunter and I were just a tad tardy but that didn't matter.
I might miss a name but we had a good showing.

Thanks again for the help toting the old fellers gear out to the spot. It made the day very managable.

The ice was right. The companionship was great...Oh yeah Eats as well.

Chas. How could I forget that. They are great. I wore them with lite weight thinsulate ankle high boots
and Layered socks.
They are at least half the weight of my Sorells, very warm and the cleats worked very well on the glare ice today. I am very well satisfied.

Great group of "Iceholes". Nice report John , couldnt have put it any better. Good time with a great buncha guys. Fishing wasnt on fire but everyone caught fish. John , Angelo ,Phil , Jeff , Steve , Paul thanks for coming out. I enjoyed everyones company. Steve and Paul thanks for the food.....mmmm hit the spot....these guys have the right idea. I hope you all had a good time and hope to do it again soon. Angelo Ill definately take ya up on fishing your club. It will bring back some old memories for me. Ive got a ton of stuff to do before bed so Ill try to post some of the pics I took tomorrow.....Until next time tight lines!!!

I just got through cleaning the fish from today. Jeff and I ended up with 22 Nice Bluegills, 4 Crappies, 4 stripers and 1 donor Catfish.

John, again I want to thank you for the invitation and another Great day fishing. It was great to get out and fish with fellow Iceholes.

It was also great to hear that Angelo finally figured out (even tho it was late in the day) that he needed to turn his wax worms around before putting them on the hook

Got to meet old and new faces and had fun, minus my auger troubles. Small presentation baits w/ custom jig wedgies worked out best for me today. I kept 2 nice crappies, 7"+ gills and lil yellow bass. All were scaled up and will be baked whole.(My boys love eating them whole.) John also donated a handful or so to the mix.
