I was at the muskie show all day yesterday, so I decided to get some RR and hit the pond later in the afternoon. Bluegill bite was very good on spikes and gulp maggots on a Custom Jigs and Spin nuclear ant in 8 feet of water until 5:30. After that, the bite shutdown. Had two flags which equaled two bass. One came at sunset which was the biggest bass of the season so far. Ice was 10 inches with a nice inch of snow on top. Creepers were not needed.
