Started at Jackson harbor, ended up on the souhth end of Calumet harbor, tried LOTS of places in between. NOTHING. Water was clearer the further south you went, but never caught or saw any smallies. Talked to 3 other fishermen, 2 coho fishermen and one smallmouth fisherman. Nobody had caught or seen anything. PLEASE tell me we arent going to have a repeat of the "no spawn" we had last year. Going to keep trying and focusing on smallmouth once a week or so. Ill keep you guys posted. Hopefully I have some more interesting reports coming soon.

rode my bike around the northside harbors sunday for a bit and landed 2, but the first one was only 9 inches. This one was 16.

Maybe the water still too cold.

I did have some action at Belmont last week. Got a largemouth on Thursday and a huge smallie on Friday by the finger. Nothing happened yesterday. Action seems to be inconsistent, but some fish are around!

Stopped by Burnham yesterday afternoon. Very windy, but I managed one smallie on a nightcrawler.

Went out Sunday 5/22 tossing jigs at rocks in Indiana, no sign of life beyond line cutting mussels.
