Heading down to Willow Slough with the wife tomorrow. Hoping the frog bite is on for bass. Anyone had any luck there recently?

Did not have very much luck. Should have brought some crickets because I saw some guys pulling out some nice panfish. I got 2 small bass. Both on a Spro frog on the south side lillies. Didn't hear many people doing well. Maybe would have been better with sun and calmer wind.

I am not sure the name of the town. It's just south of Schneider, off of US41 and 400N I believe. JC Murphy Lake or something like that...

Willow Slough (J.C.Murphy Lake) is in Newton County.
Enos would be the closest town, if it is a town.
Back in the 1980's, the Spilottro (sp) brothers, mobsters were found buried out there in their undies.
I think that area is haunted now.
Can ya imagine;
Yuo are out on the slough one steamy summer night. It's all dark as heck and a little fog is rising off the slough and the bull frogs are croaking away.
Then...
Here come these two mad as hell ghosts, otta the fog, in their undies and they're all after ya.....

Better stay away from that swamp.
