Rode bike to Harbor from Home. Got to harbor around 3:30. Had to leave at 4:30 once it started to pour had to call it a day. But I did manage this lunker. Caught him on a goby colored tube jig. Was using 17# mono line. No net. thought I might lose him at wall. Took a couple of pics and quick measurement and sucessfully released him. On way back stopped by another harbor and got a report that guys were catching bass there too. Riding a bike 3 miles home in a downpour was an adventure on its own.

For all you young fishermen out there and wondering what harbor to hit for bass the answer is all of them..Personally, I like Belmont on the outside working my way near the opening. As of now, they are near the wallls in and around the submerged rocks. They are mauling the gobies, so anything that resembles that bait you should be in good shape. I also like the planeterium, working around to the north facing wall has produced lots of fish. With the extended spring and cool temps bass fishing should be good for while. good luck
