Me and a buddy bass fished lm harbor today. This was our first time bass fishing lm andd did we have a great time we ended up catching 15 bass. 7 of them being largemouths and the rest small mouths. My buddy got the biggest largenouth measuring 20+ inches. Never ever did I expect to have had such a great day bass fishing lm harbor from shore. One thing really cought our eye was that the large mouths had really small mouths even the bigger ones.

Did the lateral line look spotted? Maybe you were catching some spotted bass. They look like largemouths but physically have smaller mouths. Been trying to get out to the lakefront. Weather might set it back a bit. Might have to wait til next Wednesday.

I got a hybrid once out there, me thinks. Small face mouth with pores and largie markings on the body. What you think? The north breaker at mouth of Monroe.
That one wouldn't quit.

I am new to LM bass fishing! Could you help with some basic rigs and technique! From a boat are you throwing in the rocks or working plastics on the bottom? Appreciate your help!
