this saturday i am plainning on taking my boat out. i cannot decide if i want to hit up LM, Heideke, or Mazonia. I think i would have the most fun on LM providing the wind is ok, but i dont want to pay the $25 launch fee out of 95th street. any ways around it?

pay $10 in Alsip and run east.. not a bad blast, but you will run through some gas getting there and back.
There's a bar that has a ramp near the O'Brien lock (our side), don't recall the name or what they charge.
Never made it through the O'Brien lock in less than 30 minutes. (40-45 has been typical, and not due to commercial traffic)

i was not aware of a 25.00 fee at 95th. is that the case now and when did that start. i went out there last week and didnt pay a dime. thanks for the info.

Barnacle, I've heard that the company that owns the city's parking meters has installed meter boxes with a price of $25 when you park your truck/trailer. (If I recall correctly, cash or credit)
