What to do What to do? Was thinking of doing some bass fishing tomorrow but not sure where
1) Monroe harbor and outer harbor by the breaker walls for smallies?
2)Chain of lakes and upper fox for largies ?
3)Long lake?
4)Loon lake?
5) The entrance of Winthrop harbor and the reef heading down the breaker wall to the south?

Any suggestions? :dontknow

Decided to hit monroe Harbor. Good news was that there is now a pay box at the entrance to the boat launch parking lot at Burnam harbor. Box takes cash or credit card. My go to bait was the 4" Lunker City salt shaker and it worked well. Put 5 Smallies in the boat biggest was 18". Also did some sight seeing with the wife. Was a really nice day to be out, fished from about 10:30 till 2:30

Ya the price blows but I like the fact that at Burnam you don't have to wait till the store opens to pay for your launch. You can go at any time from what it looks like now that you just pay at the gate when you park your rig

Chip, Its great to see those pics, I saw you fishing all day and I didn't know it til now. I drive the water taxis and I must have went past you 10 times. As I did I was saying to myself, this guy must be onto something or he wouldn't be staying in this spot.

That must be a pretty cool gig running the water taxi TJorgs. I usually just look for the smallies out there where ever i can find the current. Especially around those bull noses. I also picked up one off the breaker wall north of navy pier after we went by to look at the sail boats. I was marking some really good stuff over there and could have got a few more to go but we had somewhere to be so the Misses started giving me the"You about ready honey"

Good fishin' Hadley. That's a really cool shot of the one mid-fight.
