I read about this when it was first caught. If memory serves he had some issues over restricted fisheries. Guesss they got it worked out. One helluva fish. Tied Perry's 77 year record. 22 lb. 4 0z. here's the link http://www.igfa.org/Records/World-Recor ... -Bass.aspx.

You should read the bio on this "Manabu Kurita" he's a maniac. Huge baits, driving for hours, hundreds of dollars for launch fees, and he really puts in the time. Something us CTA guys can relate too. It aint cheap to own a truck and a boat in Japan either.
