Good Morning

Last year I tried for some Lake Michigan smallies, unfortunately, was a few weeks late and they were hanging out by the rock walls. Anyone doing any good along the shorelines lately for smallies?

I'd like to go out on Sunday, if possible.

Thanks,

Bill

Haven't been out for around 3 weeks to avoid fishing them during spawn and on beds but Id imagine they have just about finished up and will be back on the walls/breakwalls soon.

Anyone doing anything with smallies?

No kids this weekend. No wife. Fishing being caught would be the trifecta of a perfect weekend!

I've personally had an awful year, and the occasional Rock Bass is basically non-existent. Time go back to the great lakes spinner and softshell pieces............
Some guys are doing well, but something did change.

This is my first year fishing locally often. Northside.. last 5-6 years always up on the chain. Working on these bass but no luck at MH last week, lots of trips to the lagoons with one good day. Daily tying to pick out little ponds just north of the city that hold bass. Had my first kid 3 months ago so local angling has stepped to the forefront of my downtime. Even tho I couldn’t catch a cold I’m enjoying myself.
