Went out behind Adler today, very slow as far as I could tell only 3 coho taken over 5hrs. Did see a guy land a 34" musky on the north side of alder on a crank bate which was pretty rad. Water clarity was muck today maybe when things clear up the bite will get better as the water is still showing 43 degrees. Did manage to get myself a sunburn today though :doh

you sure it was a Musky and not a Northern Pike? The lakefront has a good population of Northerns, but no Musky that I have ever heard of. I would love it if there were musky present! But my suspicion is that he caught a big northern...

That's awesome! That's the first I've heard of a musky being caught in the lake south of Wisconsin. Wouldn't it be great if they were frequent enough that you could go out and target them?!?

Very cool. Can musky naturally reproduce in lake Michigan?

They do in/around Green Bay...not sure this far south. It'd be interesting to know if it's a fish from Wisconsin, Indiana, or Michigan.

Just to clarify, that link I posted was from last September. I'm not sure if pics of the fish from the planetarium are online anywhere.
