When you do get your hands on those plastic spools sometimes the diameter of the hole can be too big. I would like to suggest getting a big washer with let's say a 3/8 hole. Super glue it over the bigger hole of the spool and the same on the other side of the spool. Now that your 5 and a half in 3/8 bolt and stick it through. There are lots of ways people make there powerline rigs. Another option is a cheap fly reel. Good luck out there guys.
