Just made it back last night from picking up the new boat. Was suppose to get it a few weeks back but the trailer took much longer then expected to get built. Storm Warning 2 is a 33' Baha Cruisers. The boat is a absolute tank and runs almost 50mph. I have a lot of work to do as it is a blank slate but It will be ready for easter weekend once all the new electronics get delivered and installed. The boat has a TON of fishing room. Back deck is just over 90 square feet. I will post some more pictures once I get it setup. Although there is a lot of work to do its really nice to start with a blank slate so I can get things setup exactly how I want them.

Give me a call to book a trip. I have a feeling the spring Coho fishing will be outstanding this year.

I called around to old baha dealers and most thought it would weigh under 9,000lbs. I had the trailer built to hold 11,400lbs so no problem. Well got it weighed on the way home the boat with about 50 gallons of fuel weighed in at 10,760lbs. Just a little higher then expected :crazy

As you know I've been there, done that, and have the tee shirt to prove it!

Picking up my trailer March 31. Then staying there, in Port Clinton, and walleye fishing on the first of April.

How did your truck do with it?

Ya need a big red dually!

Well better then expected I guess. So I load the boat pull it out and the truck doesn't look like it has much weight on it. Back in the water pull it up another 12" and back out. The truck now is squatting maybe 2 inches so now the truck is level. I'm thinking I hope its enough weight. Well at the scale I find out I have 920lbs on the hitch. I never really loaded the back of the truck before with that much weight. I thought it would have squatted more then that. It was probably corrected the first time. Other then that The truck easily ran 70mph though the mountains and around turns. bumps... I was even more impressed when I discovered I was 19,420lbs rolling down the road. Also serious pucker value when going threw toll booths with a 10'6" beam. New York city George Washington bridge was nerve wrecking.

I have one of those load leveling/stabilizing ball mount deals with the torsion bars if you want to try it out.

Should have all the pieces with 2 bar sizes. I think its Reese brand. I can try to dig it out when I get back in town this weekend.

No need. It did great but thanks. The problem is with surge brakes is any more then 400 to 500 lbs it starts binding and not releasing the brakes.
