I stayed there last winter, what a shame. they could easily sell the units as condos and then rent them out. The unit I stayed in you could fish off the balcony..... you were that close to the water.
How come anytime the government gets involved with business it goes to hell? same thing happen to Lake Shelbyville resort and Illinois beach is not much better.

Less government and lower taxes works all the time.

I hope they keep the launch open. It was way easier then the launch at the camp ground.

it appears from the article that the dnr has let the rend lake resort llc slide for almost 205k. and 47k in hotel taxes, and 14k in property taxes.. mr grunauer what do u mean "anytime the government gets involved with business it goes to hell".

One person on another site said he was told the launch areas will be closed to traffic along with the entire site. This has not been verified, so maybe a call is needed.

Too bad it's not a better lake. Maybe it is a good crappie and catfish lake but there are much better bass options in the area.
