Had a few hours to myself this afternoon and it was 50+ degrees so I thought I'd get out for a bit. Caught 6 crappie in about an hour and a half, with the best being about 12". Water was 48 in Dry Fork Creek where my buddy lives and up to 61 in Elks Cove up by the plant. I caught five of the six across the lake from Elks by golf course point. They are on ice since I'm going to try to get into them tomorrow morning as well before the storm rolls through. Pics to follow tomorrow.

Thanks for the report. Those are a couple of my favorite areas to fish. You might want to try the pump house area when the wind is blowing into that shore line.

Thanks BGB. Fished the pump house both days but nothing much was going on there. My buddy that lives on the lake and I caught 12 more this morning, but we had to work hard for them. They weren't anything special...just the typical 10-12" Egypt crappie. We caught one by the Elks ramp and the rest where I caught them yesterday, right at the tee box. Dr. is going to load some pics for me as I'm still struggling in that department.

I just got a new cell phone. I've got the pics loaded in my gallery but I am having issues with the copy and paste tool. Give me a day or two.

Thanks Gary. 95% of the crappie we catch at Egypt are blacks. Also approximately 50% of the crappie I cleaned had eggs.
