Looking for Crappie....

Taking the boat to Shelbyville next Thursday for some fast White Bass action, but would like to find a few crappie for dinner and to take a break from the WB. Have heard the crappie are dispersed and hard to find, any reports would be much appreciated. I understand the high water should get them moving into the willows.

Thanks for any info, :thanks :thanks

Report from July 9th and 10th

On Friday we had 4 of us in the boat, less than ideal but we survived and nobody hooked each other. Steve Welch did a great job putting us on white bass all day long, caught over 300 and cleaned about 100, also landed one walleye and a number of drum. The bonus buffalo eluded us on this trip, which gives me an excuse to go back down in a couple weeks. The second day 3 of us fished out of my boat and went for crappie, ended the day with less than a stellar catch.....cleaned 11, but caught about 100 fish throughout the day, many small crappie, white bass, drum and a number of buck bass. slip floats in 10 - 14 FOW with medium shinners did the trick. small spinners, twister tails etc also caught fish on this 90 plus degree day.
