OK i am heading down the first week of may in search of the crappies. Never fished the lake before! Anyone with information please please help.

I went down there last spring and the lake was a ghost town. All the locals told me to hit the spillway and man, they were right. Parked the rig at the spillway, walked down to the water, first cast got hit like mac truck ! After a long fight, a 35 inch musky. We got walleye, smallmouth,largemouth all casting small swimbaits- sassy shads, fish traps, storm wildeyes.
