anyone have an Ice report for any lakes on the Barbee Chain?

somebody told me the lake is froze except the channel. however i do not know the lake or the area, just what i heard from somebody who lives there

thanks, I stumbled upon some reports on an ice fishing site. Sounds like it will be ok when I get there. Going for Crappie and Ski.

Best to leave the ski's alone under the ice. Way to easy to guy hook them. I see them guy hooked on tv every year guys pike fishing. If you must, vertical jig and if you really must use a tipup use a circle hook. Some nice panfish to be had.
