I will be in Naples just after Christmas for a few days... looking for ideas.

Guides to recommend? (probably not big game - but anything else)

Inshore gar fishing?

Just rent a boat and put shrimp on a hook near mangroves?

Gerry, if it ever warms up here you should do great....
I have several guides I personally know that fish the Cape Coral, Fort Myers area that I can get you info on.
You can also fish the piers, Naples, Fort Myers, or the several bridge areas, San Carlos Pass, etc.
Cape Coral is about a 45 min ride from Naples, you should make the trip this way, lots of back waters to fish for Redfish, Sea Trout, Snook etc.
