Bay of Quinte makes the Top 5 fisheries every fall for Walleye hogs in North America. I remember reading about it in my old Walleye Insider magazines as a top destination for November. Its on the upper North East corner of Lake Ontario. About a couple of hours outside of Ottawa. We launch in the town of Picton in Prince Edward County, Ontario. About 2.5 hours east of Toronto. Around 220 miles for me in Buffalo. I remember back in the 80's wanted to go to the Bay of Quinte, just never worked it out. Once I got to Buffalo, it was first on the list. You have a legitimate shot at 12 to 15 lb walleyes. There ae plenty of 10's and 11's. And the number of 4 to 9 lb fish is just nuts. http://www.google.ca/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&showlabs=1&hl=en&msa=0&msid=109673374404258423204.000487314068c472128c0&ll=44.06884,-77.137756&spn=0.464739,1.347198&z=10

Just got back from a few days on the bay of quinte for me and the boy. Wow, was the fishing great. He got his PB. He boated, and I do mean he, not me, (I was the watching and smoking the whole time -- didnt handle one rod) a 14-6, 12-10, 12, 11-4, 10 and 3-5lbers (we took home to eat.). We had 3 fish come off the board, big slow slidin board big. We released all except the 3 -5lbs, which will be dinner tomorrow.
The 14-6 was 32 1/4 long with a girth of 21 1/4 inches. Smokin fish. I been chasing em all this time, an the lil sheet bags him like in the first hour. Go figure. Full report and pics coming and they are TREMENDOUS!
