Wow, the weather was something. Absolutely beautiful 55 degrees in ontario in November. Go figure.

Had a great weekend out. Notable pics below. An 11lber and 7lber. Both released. Also, there is a pic of a 13.8 lber caught on 10 colors of leadcore and a renosky. 10 colors of lead? Wicked. He says he was down 70 to 80 feet. I am still trying to put my head around that. One of our guys got a 8lber off a down rigger, 85 down, in 120 FOW. Downriggers? For walleyes? Never would have figured it. Was a very nice weekend. Plus the Bills win (but didnt cover).

Oh, forgot to add. Taking the boy up there this friday in search of his PB. Right now its a 5lb Winnebago walleye. We are hoping we can beat it. Lets hope the weather cooperates.

Back on sunday, then ship familia off to Chicago for thanksgiving. Will be in cleveland over thanksgiving working on big fish night bite and some perchin. Should be fun. Back in Buffalo the following saturday, then off to the Sunday Bills vs Pittsburgh steelers game. The boy is stoked! (so am I...lots of good fishing coming up).

Were all the fish caught that deep? If so, can you safely release them after they have been brought up from those depths? Great fish btw.

Nope. The deep 13.8lb was gone a few minutes after hitting the boat. Fizzing has not been effective, especially from the deeper spots. Most of our fish came from 24 to 28 foot depths. Still risky, but with some work in the water, all small down safely.
