I got out Sunday about 1 PM and went 2 for 2 on Steelhead. Sunday just up from the Riverview launch at I 94 at the next bridge. One trolling down river and the other up stream. Hot N Tots both days were the only thing that I could get to work chrome and blue and firetiger. Monday I was 1 for 3 a beautiful 27" rocket. It's been too long since I caught steelhead. The next couple of days will be picture perfect the river is low but as pretty as it can be. Monday it was all downstream of the launch and other than the bridge I mentioned the upriver from the interstate is really shallow. Action was equal trolling into the current or back trolling. I tried anchoring up and soaking eggs or shrimp and half a crawler with out any luck. It hard to keep 2 rods running free of leaves and debris I believe I could have boated quite a few more if I had a net man and an other guy fishing with me. No matter the days were spectacular and rae for November. A 6 point buck swam the river right at the launch as I was putting in. If you can get away now would be a good time to fish this great river
