My buddy gavin hit Lake Erie out of buffalo yesterday. The big bass are feeding as well as a pretty large school of 16 to 18 inch walleyes. He got a couple of nice fish. 6.6lbs on the right. The one on the left is only 4lbs.

Those are huge! Smallmouth must be pound-for-pound one of the fightingest fish so I can only imagine the fight they gave.

That one on the right is about as nice as they come. Did your buddy measure either? The larger one looks 22" perhaps a shade over. I target SM and I've only had a couple in that class. On the wall? Ya don't go to the dark side Mark, you wouldn't want to see all those pretty rods doubled over and your reels making that annoying clicking sound.

It starts out with the Salmon then next its BASS!!!! Those are nice Smallies I am sure you would have loved to catch those Mark.

Yeah, I know. I dont wanna get asked when I say I fish ontario or erie that I havent tried salmon, steelhead, muskie or smallies. The jiggin rod, though, is laying at my feet with a hutchies gold 5/16 and 3" gulp black shad.

The one on the left looks like a football. I'm sure once you hook into one of those bronzebacks Mark, you will be hooked!
